Paulin Modi - Partner and President of SM Engineers in Michigan

An accomplished civil engineer and business leader with experience in strategic planning and project management, Paulin "Paul" Modi serves as a partner and president of S.M. Engineers in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Paulin Modi has overseen numerous successful ventures at the Michigan-based organization, including redeveloping the Northland Mall in Southfield, a 90-acre site that will become a modern urban space.

Mr. Modi holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Mercy in Detroit and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from L.D. College of Engineering in Ahmedabad, India. His educational background provides a foundation in engineering principles, allowing him to manage complex projects effectively and contribute to the industry.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Modi is actively involved in community service, volunteering at his local temple, and serving on the Long Range Planning Committee (LRPC). He enjoys playing tennis and traveling with his family, having visited many countries across different continents.
